My Work is mostly watercolour based, although more recently I have begun working with Acrylics.

I have found the more forgiving nature of acrylics a joy to work with, although I do still love the feeling of light and transparencey that can be produced in watercolour. Saying that, a lot of my work is not always light, much often has a darkness within.

I seem to find myself constantly drawn back to the sea, and I am currenlty working on a series of seascapes in Acrylic. These paintings are much larger than my older work and I am finding this work quite a challenge, but an exciting one.

I hope you enjoy looking through my paintings and I look forward to any comments you may have. I will be adding many of my older paintings to the site, so you should see some of these begin to appear soon
